Congratulations to our local Lewes brewery Harveys who have been chosen for the top spot for the 2016 edition based on feedback from readers of the guide.
Good Pub Guide editor, Mrs Stapely, said: “This year particularly we have had a lot of praise and feedback about Harveys. We know the brewery really well and I think it’s great it has been running since 1790. Their beers are carefully crafted – there can’t be a person in the world who doesn’t love Harveys Best.”
Well in this house Tom Paine is a favourite and on this wet November day all the guests from
White Lodge luxury B&B Lewes have been to Lewes for the day. They have found some Christmas presents in the brewery shop as well as enjoyed the Lewes Castle and the many antique and coffee shops!
