This week at White Lodge bed and breakfast Lewes we have the pleasure of the company of walking friends. They met over 20 years ago and now meet up regularly to explore either Canada, the British Isles and Ireland exploring new places and their homelands!
It's been a pleasure serving up homemade Irish Wheaten bread to a fellow Irishman - a wee taste of home! Alongwith very healthy breakfasts for the girls and a full english for the boys!
There is plenty of walking in East Sussex - with walks direct from White Lodge's door you can do a two hour walk or end up at The Five Bells for lunch! Or you can enjoy the autumn colour spender at nearby Sheffield Park, Nyman's or Standen House all local National Trust properties. The South Downs National Park with it's cooling sea breezes has been a perfect place to enjoy the autumn sunshine this week with guests enjoying the Cuckmere Valley, Seven Sisters and even fish and chips on Brighton seafront or indeed on the Bluebell Railway last night!
So if you need a short stay or mini break in East Sussex call Ann to check availability on
