This week my sister visited us at White Lodge B&B Lewes for the first time since we renovated. She has been looking after our mum lovingly for many years. Sadly mum passed away in March before she could enjoy her new accommodation in Lewes a town she loved to potter in bumbling through its many antique shops. We went to the coast and sat on a bench at Seaford, these benches are engaved with loved ones messages and it was apt that we spent a few warm but windy minutes gazing out to sea and remembering the Ray our beloved ma. Seemed to remember it was blowing a gale the last time we all went to Eastborne as well!! Sussex is great on the way we had a lovely potter in The English Wine Centre and had a little tasting of Sussex sparkling at The Ram at Firle, delicious food and wine!
