"I had a wonderful, peaceful stay at stunning White Lodge, where I enjoyed the warmest of welcomes from Ann and Martin on arrival and throughout my stay, and stylish yet homely surroundings in a quiet, rural setting. My guest room and accommodations were superkingsize and spotless, of five star plus luxury and equipped with state of the art facilities. I was delighted by the small touches and details, including the delicious home made cakes on arrival, and the fluffy bathrobes and slippers. Breakfasts were outstanding, cooked with care from the aga, with homemade breads and muffins, and farm-fresh eggs. It was a shame I couldn't stay longer to try the rest of the menu. A rare find indeed, I hope for and look forward to my return when back in the area, and perhaps next time I can try out the first floor sun terrace."
