Martin and Ann are very proud to have received their ninth Certificate of Excellence, one for every year since opening their home as a luxury B&B for the Lewes area.
The achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year. Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, restaurants and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.

Superb standard of accommodation and fabulous breakfasts
Very spacious and tastefully furnished room. We've never had such a good range of choices for breakfast, beautifully presented and served, as though we were in a five star hotel. The owners were attentive without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. They gave us lots of information about the many places to visit in the area.
They also gave restaurant suggestions.

B&B Experience
White Lodge has been beautifully renovated and redesigned with guests' every need in mind. The house is modern and immaculate, but feels warm and homely. The bedroom and en suite bathroom were spacious, very well appointed and thoughtfully equipped, with a lovely view over the garden and grounds. The delicious gluten free brownie on arrival was a real treat! The quiet country location is ideal for visiting the nearby lovely town of Lewes, Glyndebourne, exploring the South Downs and even taking a short train ride to Brighton.
Ann and Martin's hospitality was second to none and the cooked breakfasts were delicious! Will definitely return.

takes B & B to a totally new level
We enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay at the White Lodge. Ann & Martin were most welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotless, spacious and well appointed. Extremely comfortable beds and a fantastic walk in shower. Our breakfasts were delicious. We made use of the sun terrace, patio and lounge area.
So pleased we found the White Lodge and will definitely be returning.
