White Lodge B&B Lewes

Last night at White Lodge B&B Lewes there was much bird calling in the garden and I could not for the life of me see or work out what it was. That was until or shy green woodpecker made an apperarace looking for his favourite food the ants in the grass! He is living in the wood at the back of the house and has brought his young to feed in the balmy evening air. The guests this morning were thrilled to watch the birdlife whilst lying in 'Spinney' bedrooms bed, they spoted a sparrow hawk, the great spotted and green woodpeckers as well as the resident male pheasant.
